The Page Analytics Chrome Extension allows you to see how customers interact with your web pages:
- What your visitors click and don’t click,
- Optimize your website layout,
- Improve user experience,
- and increase conversions.
Of course to install this extension, you need to have Google’s browser: Chrome.
Let’s walk through how to do it:
Search for the extension in the Chrome Web Store (search for= Page Analytics (by Google)) or login Google Analytics and click on “Reporting”:
And then click on “Behaviour” and “In-Page Analytics”:
And click on “Get Started” on the message that appears at the top of that screen.
You will be redirected to the extension. If you are using Internet Explorer, your button will say”Available on Chrome” which means that you have to access the page with Chrome browser; otherwise you will click on “Free”:
You will then be asked to confirm the installation of the extension:
To access the extension, click on the Google Analytics button that will appear on the upper right corner of your browser:
NOTE: You need to be logged in Google Analytics when you use this extension.
